He reported that 20 Cowboys players missed curfew on Friday night. On NFL Network pregame, he mentioned Friday night was a "key night of sleep, the night before the night before the game." Nevermind that the CBA doesn't allow for "curfews" except on the night before the game.

Then he reported that Dez Bryant had like 6 police calls to his house over the past 4 years and that's why the Cowboys were wary of giving him a ton of guaranteed money on the contract. The police calls allegedly include a fire, a robbery at his house, having to unlock a car with a child inside... little shit like that. And he didn't specify what Dez's involvement was in these incidents.

Seems like the guy is desperate to make a controversy in Dallas.

Did he set the house on fire while the robber was there? Was the kid in the car during the entire fire/robbery episode?

The curfew thing was real -- several local media guys talked about that. (The team later denied it was a curfew because those are technically not allowed under the CBA, but Garrett still gave them a time and many players ignored it.)

The Dez part does seem a little like rabble rousing with that timeline going back four years. I think Dez was still having little incidents that the team was worried about earlier in his career but supposedly he's much better now.

But hey, that's how it's going to be with us winning games again. Nothing will go unnoticed.

I doubt he's creating news but I'm sure he's putting stuff out there without fully confirming the facts. It's the Dallas Cowboys, it will get hits.

He's manipulating the story.

If these incidents had occurred recently he would have stated something to the effect of ----> "as recently as 3 months ago, the Desoto Police have been called to Dez's residence for incidents such as...."

The fact that he had to say 4 years ago, makes it highly likely that nothing significant has occurred recently with the most damning incident being the one that required him to go back 4 years

Is that the one where he beat up his mom?

And even in that incident all he did was hit her with a baseball cap. It's not like he beat the shit out of her.
We weren't there.... There's his side of the story and the mom's side. I just like to say he beat the shit out of her. Even the mom didn't go that far!

I thought he said there were 6 or so incidents spanning the years he's been with the Cowboys?
