Id Romo the worst prime time QB in the NFL or what? Everytime we are on the big stage in a big game Tony always looks a little flustered or gets rattled. That INT at the end broke our backs!!

Is Tony going to be the guy for the future? Or dare I say is it time to starting looking for the next franchise QB?

I haven't giving up on Tony yet.

I want to see a good offensive line in front of him before I say I've giving up on him.

I think a lot of the time he rushes his throws because he feels the pressure coming. And let's face it some of his ints have been tipped balls.

Romo is an elite quarterback . . . but he has shit for protection. No QB would look good with this line.

Most of his interceptions this year have been tipped balls, including the first one against Minnesota where his protection broke down, and he threw a ball that bounced off a Viking helmet.

The second interception was just a great play by EJ Henderson. He faked a blitz, and instead jumped on the hot route. Romo couldn't see him because the lineman were covering him up.

This team has a lot of problems. Romo isn't one of them.

Fix the offensive line. Create more turnovers on defense.

Romo will not only win us at least one super bowl, he'll be inducted into the HOF on his 2nd or 3rd eligible year.

He is that good. So far, he's Dan Marino-lite. Let's get a GM and coach in here that can help him out.

Things need to change for it to happen, I don't have my hopes up.

Exactly. But to the people who look only at box scores and not the actual game, they wouldn't know the difference, and thereby would make thread like this. And to the OP... Romo is 11-2 in prime time games, so I do not know where you get this crap that he is one of the "worst prime time QBs" there is, fact is, it's apparent that you do not have a clue as to what prime time is, so it's of no surprise that you would make an assinine statement like you just did. A 4:00 slot is not prime time. Prime time refers to either Sunday night or Monday Night. They are "prime" because they are the only game playing in that slot and they command the most attention.

this is Jerry's failing. The Patriots and Colts would not put the junk out front for Brady and Manning, respectively, that Jerry puts out in front of Romo. Having Bryant, Austin, Roy, Witten, and Felix is not enough. You are foolishly banking on that if the Oline breaks down, Romo's mobility will bail him out.

I agree.

The homer in me was hoping that we would be talented enough in other areas. We're not. All three phases of this team is piss poor. If that teepee didn't fall on Whatever his name is, his ass would be gone by now.

We'll maybe see one new starter on the offensive line next year when we really need new players all the way down the line. Doug Free, for as solid as he was to start the year, he's made more than his fair share of blunders already.

This 3-4 reminds me way too much of Zimmers 4-3, we bend but don't break until it's too late. Campo was a huge fan of that shit. Campos DBs can't make a play on the ball for shit. Our pass rush is only good until halftime.

Don't worry though, no changes planned.

Jerry did something similar to Aikman, so I don't know why I'm surprised. Look at the shit weapons Aikman had at his side late in his career.

Stuck Aikman with crap WRs and now he's sticking it to Romo with the offensive line.

And that will prove to be even more as to how clueless Jerry is. So instead, 3/5ths of starting our Oline will be 33 and still have the highest-paid and most inept Oline coach. I agree as to hwo this 3-4 is like Zimmer's 4-3. I hated that shit.

Romo seems to have it all together..then you have to admit..Tony always seems to have that one huge mistake that bites us in the ass.

I almost threw a beer bottle through my TV on that last pick!!

There is bad Romo, he used to occupy about 50% of Romo's game. Go back 3 years and it's night and day, IMO. I would say that Romo has 3 picks this year that you could argue were on him, the rest have been terrible luck.

Romo is on par or above the second tier of QBs after Peyton and Tom B, IMO.

Fucking boneheaded decision by Romo yesterday, but, after seeing that douche is the OP's avatar. Romo gets a slide.

WHat REALLY pisses me off is the fact that I watched the deadskins last night. New HC, DC, position coaches. New SCHEMES on each side of the ball, WITH THE SAME PLAYERS MIND YOU, and they are hanging in there against the Colts. And have a better record then the Cowboys.

Now, the Cowboys, SAME SCHEMES for Fucking years and the SAME players basically. And the result? STILL SHIT.

Coaches and some players need to get the fuck out now.

That second INT although a bad throw, I personally think it was the wrong fucking play to have been called in the first place. What was it? 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 2? Ok, I won't ask the obvious question on why we didn't run, but instead will ask, why didn't we run a screen on THAT play? Running screens all night for minimum gains, particularly on 3rd and long or 3rd and intermediate, or 2nd and long, etc, but the ONE time when the screen pass would get us that necessary minimum gain, we abandon it.

Garrett's fucked. On 3rd and long or intermediate, instead of running that play to Witten, he runs a screen for minimal yardage. But on 3rd and short when he decides not to run, he calls an intermediate/long plauy, instead of a screen.

And don't tell me that has something to do with the Oline. It was another drive-killing play call.

That was a really bad pass on that INT with Witten running wide open in the middle of the field.

You'll have those. He's like Favre in that way. But overall he's borderline elite. The least of our worries.

Should we look for another? Absolutely. When shouldn't you look for another franchise QB to groom?

And this is why you're the biggest moron on this board.

You're in another thread accusing a writer of saying something he never said and now you're ripping a play call that had his receiver wide open for a big gain and saying it was a drive killing decision by Garrett.

Romo can't get it done, don't have to worry about him winning the big one because he'll never get us there. We need a new QB.
