What if we continue to stink up the joint the rest of the season and we're picking in the top 10 of the draft. And one of the big three QBs in this class is at the top of our board when we're on the clock.

Would you take the quarterback?

Let me state the case for either decision.

Yes - You never turn down what you think is a true franchise QB. Whether you have one on the roster already or not. It gives you great depth at the most important position on the field. The competition is healthy and you can always move one of them for picks down the road in this QB starved league. Besides, since when don't you take the best player on your board? Take him. It'll sort itself out.

No - Romo's the QB and will be for a number of seasons to come. You don't rock the boat and create a QB controversy. That pick can be better spent shoring up another area of the team. An area with an actual weakness.

You're on the clock. Your favorite of Luck, Locker, Mallett is there and at the top of your board. There isn't a trade down option that you feel is worth it. Teams don't want to move up and pay the big salary. What do you do?

Absolutely not. Romo is only 30 years old. That QB will at the very least be 30 years old when Romo is done playing.

We need help along the line in the worst possible way.

Agreed. But you have other picks to do that. And I would hope a couple of FA additions.

A Top 10 pick is more of a sure thing.

You're up early as hell on a Saturday. Are you at work?

I know we need help on the offensive line and safety, but if a big time quarterback was there at 10 I'm taking him.

As it stands right now, it looks like if you're picking in the top 10 and you draft an offensive lineman, you've reached.

I'm hoping for a top notch safety, really.

The more I think about it we can go heavy on linemen after our first pick.

They are there we just need someone in here who can evaluate offensive line talent.

Eh.

Depends on what else is there.

But I'm about ready to flush all these RBs and start over. Maybe keep Felix around as the swiss army knife of the offense.

But Barber and Ghetto Giggles have to go.

I don't care if we scrap these current backs either, let's be honest here we know Barber is gone after this year one way or the other.

And the same could be said about Choice, I would look for another running back at some point in this next draft.

Choice is dumb as a bag of hammers. I'd trade him and look for a big 3rd down/4th quarter back in the draft.

I get the QB,provided you think he'll be a top flight QB.

Good as Romo plays,it wouldn't hurt him a bit to be pushed a little.

If the guy turns out to be too good to warm the pine, then you either trade him or Romo(think Schaub).

Don't you have to grab that prize when it's there? The consensus seems to be O-line is going to be in the 20's,not top 10.

You get the best player available, regardless of need.

If There's an offensive lineman worthy of the pic right there, I go line and I don't think twice about it.

I think going QB that early is a luxury and you only do it if you're lucky enough to not have a ton of holes in your current roster.
