We are 3-8.

Should we sit our starters and play most of our young players, or just play out the season with our starters?

What would you do? Say hell with it and stay in the basement and look forward to a last place schedule for next year, look forward to a top five pick in the draft?

I know they are all paid professionals, but c'mon why not just say fuck it? Has Jason done enough to be named our next head coach?

Discuss.....

Just like in the preseason, you can never get a good evaluation of young players unless you have them play with starters...

We just need to mix them in more now but still play to win especially against the Eagles and skins.

You won't see starters benched this year. Garrett is auditioning for a head coaching job, not only in Dallas, but league wide.

The only way I think you see an infusion of youth is if Jerry tells Garrett he has the job no matter what next year.

They would be playing with starters on the field. The opponent's.

I think I can evaluate a young guy and whether he wins or loses his individual matchup against another team's starter regardless of who is around him.

If I'm Garrett, I have to do all I can to win as many of these games as possible.

Since they might still have a chance of making the playoffs (it's very very very very slim) I think they will play to win all their games until the Cowboys are out of it by math. If the Packers win one more game the Cowboys wildcard chances are gone for sure if they are not gone allready. The Cowboys should be out of the division race soon. So when math gives the Cowboys no chance of making the playoffs (and I think it's coming soon) I would be nice to see the Cowboys play a lot of their back up players to see what all these guys can do. But Jason Garrett might play to win for the rest of the season so he can return next year.

I seriously don't see much of a downgrade from the youngins to the starters. Keep with playing to win and using the young guys more often.

I'm thinking if we finish at least 6-10, Garrett will be named our next head coach.

That would give him a 5-3 second half record.

Pretty good considering we were 1-7.
