1) first and foremost, he's an upgrade at QB. A big one.

2) he would mask the deficiencies of our dumbass coach

3) he would teach our ****** wide receivers how to actually play the position correctly.

This team would be SIGNIFICANTLY better with Peyton. We had a chance...of course we blew it

While I'm not as inclined to defend Tony Romo these days, QB comes in like 9th or 10th on the list of things wrong with this franchise.

Putting Peyton Manning behind this line would be about 1st or 2nd on the list of retarded shit that people think about.

He would've been paralyzed by now behind this line.

Romo has serious limitations, but he's not our biggest problem.

GM. Coaching. Offensive line. Retarded players. Then more GM. Then more coaching. Poor run game. Bad offensive line again. And then Romo's turnovers.

Considering he gives romo free reign to fuck shit up. I'm sure Peyton and Garrett could co exist.

Y'all are crazy. Peyton manning on this team right now would be 6-1

Romo doesn't have free rein at all. He has two plays and he can check into the second one depending on the defense. That's nothing like what Peyton gets to do.

As a lot of us have said, we'd be better off if Romo did have free rein to call anything.

God help us if those retards lined up at wideout had to be worried about Romo dipping deeper than two plays into the playbook before the snap.

in reality this thread is just another example of glory's mania. When will it subside?

DT is equally as stupid as dez Bryant. he was eerily similar coming out of school, ran shitty routes etc.

Peyton has that guy on his ps and qs.

I really can't believe people are arguing this. One guy is arguably the greatest QB to ever play and the other guy consistently loses us football games. But no, we wouldn't be better off. Unbelievable.

Who arugued we wouldn't be better off? Maybe we would be somewhat. People are just saying that 1) Peyton would get whacked behind our line and that 2) Romo is far from our biggest problem.

Who cares if romo isnt our biggest problem? That doesn't mean shit. If you can get a major upgrade at the most important position in the game, you should do it.

And no. Peyton would not get whacked. He gets rid of the ball too damn fast. He'd be fine.

That's like saying Anthony Spencer isn't the problem on this team...so no, we shouldn't trade him for Von miller..just plain stupid

After the neck surgery, Peyton and Tony have roughly the same arm strength, but Peyton remains far less mobile. Peyton would probably make better decisions with the ball, but the sack totals would be out of this world.

#1 pass protection has been pretty good actually. We just can't run block for shit

#2 Peyton doesn't hold the ball Long enough for it to be that big of an issue.

Peyton would have about 10 less turnovers at this point in the season. 10!!!!

Peyton signed for 5 years and 96 million. The sheer size of that contract makes this a fucking retarded thread.

Stick to the Court rooms My man. 5 yrs 96 million doesn't say shit. How much is guaranteed? How much of the was given in the first 2-3 years?

I KNOW for a fact Denver is off the hook if his neck doesn't hold up.

Get your facts straight

He's guaranteed $18 mil. then if he passes a postseason physical this year, another $40 mil is guaranteed for 2013 and 2014.
