One of the newest members of the Washington Redskins, defensive back DeJon Gomes, hasn't played a snap in the NFL, but already has developed a dislike for the Dallas Cowboys.

According to The Washington Post, Gomes recently joined sports radio station ESPN 980 and took part in the following Q&A with host DocWalker:

Walker: “All right, let me do word association. I’m gonna give you an IQ test. I’ll say a word, you tell me what the first reaction to it is. Dallas Cowboys.”

Gomes: “Losers.”

Walker: “Losers. My man. See, I already like him....You already passed the test. You nailed it, my friend.”

Unfortunately, that is where the word association game ended.

Gomes, who played at Nebraska, was selected in the fifth round with the 146th overall pick.

Being a 5th round pick he probably should concentrate on just making that squad. He hasn't made the team yet and if he's on waivers soon you want to keep all options available.

They used to play the Doc Walker show here in Virginia Beach a few years ago, and I can honestly say it was some of the worst sports radio I've ever had the misfortune of listening too.

Regarding Gomes comments, whatever. He's trying to pander to the fan base. I'm sure if he was drafted by us, he'd be telling anyone who listened how he grew up a Dallas fan.

Exactly. But he'll make the team, whereas he would be a PSer on any other team includi9ng the "loser" Cowboys.

Even worse than Lavar Arrington's radio show?

I actually liked LaVar's podcasts. He's a well-spoken dude, even if he is a chucklehead.

Doc Walker's show was pretty damn bad, though.

Did anyone go from "awesome" to retirement as fast as Arrington? He didnt even wind down or anything. Just cut out the roids and went away. Merriman-esque

I remember listening to Doc Walker a couple of years ago 1st saying we wouldn't win a game in December starting with the Saints (We won that game and a few more).

He then stated after we beat the Saints we wouldn't be in playoffs and if we squeaked in Jerry's stadium wouldn't get to host a game.(We won the division title and hosted a playoff game)

Then he stated we could never beat the Eagles 3 times in the same season.....The guy is simple and plain:censored him...

I'm glad our old timers don't act like those old haters.
