We should sign him and immediately trade him to the Vikings.

From Sports Illustrated:
Herschel Walker making NFL comeback?
Nearing 50, Herschel Walker is talking about an NFL comeback. To hear him tell it, Walker can still give a boost to any NFL team willing to ignore the date on his birth certificate. He turns 49 on March 3. "If I continue to stay in the shape I'm in now, I know I can play when I'm 50," Walker insisted [Monday]. ... "Right now, if you asked me if I can play today, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind I can play football, that I can help a team out," said Walker, whose spent his final three NFL seasons primarily as a receiver and kick returner for the Giants and Cowboys. "I can 100 percent guarantee you I can help a football team out."

If there is any one man besides David Beeler that could play football at 50, it's Walker. This guy is insane with his workout habits. I read once that he does 1000 push ups and sit-ups when he rolls out of bed every morning.

I highly doubt that he could make it through an NFL training camp. No team will entertain the idea either.

Herschel is my all-time favorite football player. I grew up on USC football but I kept seeing this monster RB on the news (before ESPN) so I started watching Georgia games. I watched the New Jersey Generals and almost lost my mind when he finally ended up a Dallas Cowboy. I hated but understood him being traded to the Vikings. Couldn't stand it when he was an Eagle or Giant. I was glad he ended up back with us as he wrapped up his career as a 35-year old kick returner. I've only watched one MMA event and it was because he was trying it. He's the reason why I wore 34 my whole career and now my daughter wears 34 in college. You might say I have a bit of a man crush on Herschel.

That all being said, he needs to stop. If he's deadset on doing it he should go over to the UFL, who could use any publicity it can get.

I didn't know your daughter played college football, cmd34.

Impressive.

I wish, she's too soft. She plays basketball.

Her Uncle (her mother's brother) wore 34 too. He won the Harlon Hill trophy, went to training camp with the Cowboys, and played a season with the Jaguars. He thinks he's the reason she wears 34, she has corrected him several times.

The scary thing is he would die of an heart attack when he busted out of the backfield.

~Walker breaks a 2 yard gain and clutches his chest~
