Because he took over Parcells core when they were just reaching their prime and the franchise QB was ready.

It was perfect timing on his part. Like a mini version of Barry Switzer. But now he's being exposed as the mediocre head coach he really is.

I actually don't have a problem with what he said in that video. I think it encourages your players to just play and not be a step late all the time because you're concerned about making a mistake.
