Concensus seems to be Barron. That probably means we wont pick him.

Brad Sham: 'A lot of folks' think Mark Barron can step in and play
Last month, it appeared the Cowboys were almost certainly going to select a cornerback with their first round draft pick - specifically Alabama’s Dre Kirkpatrick.
With the draft now only a little over a week away, Kirkpatrick no longer appears to be on the Cowboys radar. Instead his teammate, safety Mark Barron, is now the favorite to go to Dallas at No. 14. Experts such as NFL Network’s Charles Davis are more than confident this will be the case.
“As the top-rated safety in a draft lacking depth at the position, he's in high demand," Davis wrote. “The Cowboys fly up to the podium to select him.”
The Cowboys could definitely use an upgrade in the defensive backfield, but rumors continue to swirl that Jerry Jones and company could opt for an aggressive pass-rusher.
Here are some other recent mock draft predictions:
CBSSports.com’s Rob Rang
Pick : Mark Barron, S, Alabama
Comment : "Considering the presence of pass rusher extraordinaire DeMarcus Ware , the Cowboys have been terribly inept in coverage over the past several years. The team made some strides a year ago in their first season under defensive coordinator Rob Ryan but this secondary lacks a headliner. Expensive free agent cornerback Brandon Carr will certainly help, but so too would the heady and physical Barron."
NFLDraftScout.com’s Dane Brugler
Pick: Barron
Comment : "The Cowboys have ignored the safety position for too long and there are several indications out of Valley Ranch that Jerry Jones and his staff have locked-in on the former Alabama All-American. Barron, who still isn't 100% healthy after a sports hernia in January, is the total package with the foot speed and natural strength to play in-the-box as well as drop in coverage. Despite the free agent signing of Brodney Pool, Barron has the pedigree to start as a rookie for Dallas."
SportsIllustrated.com's Don Banks
Pick: Barron
Comment : "There have been reports the Cowboys are targeting Poe with their pick, but in Barron they'd be getting a big, hard-hitting safety who can handle run defense and move plenty well enough in coverage. That makes him a very valuable commodity in a pass-happy league, and in a division with quality running backs like LeSean McCoy, Ahmad Bradshaw and Washington's Roy Helu."
ESPN.com's Mel Kiper
Pick: Barron
Comment: "I don't think another corner is out of the question at this spot, but Barron is the best safety in the draft, and the Cowboys can't go wrong if he's available."
ESPN.com's Todd McShay
Pick: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis
Comment : "Defensive line might not seem like the top need, but Poe is the kind of young, versatile talent defensive coordinator Rob Ryan would like to develop. And with Kenyon Coleman on the downside of his career and Jay Ratliff able to move to 5-technique/DE, Poe would bring some depth and flexibility to the defensive front."
WalterFootball.com
Pick: Poe
Comment: "The Cowboys had the option of picking J.J. Watt at No. 9 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft. They went with Tyron Smith, who has been great thus far, but they're hurting at the defensive end position as a consequence. Kenyon Coleman should not be starting anymore. Dallas could draft Dontari Poe in this spot and then move Jay Ratliff over to defensive end. The Cowboys are reportedly smitten with Poe, so he would be a likely pick if he dropped to No. 14."
SBNation.com's Joel Thorman
Pick : David DeCastro, OG, Stanford.
Comment : "The Cowboys interior offensive line was a problem last season, and with the release of Kyle Kosier at guard last week, the position is truly in flux. Dallas did pick up a couple of veteran guards in free agency, but the future of the position is still in question. Enter David DeCastro, who many scouts have said is the best guard prospect to come along since Steve Hutchinson. He's got every skill you need and is a fierce run-blocker. Blessed with agile feet, he's extremely good on the move, and in the Cowboys run-blocking scheme the guards are often asked to pull. DeCastro is projected as the kind of player you pencil into the starting lineup for the next decade. Dallas picked up their tackle of the future last year with Tyron Smith, they could do the same at guard this year with David DeCastro."
SportingNews.com's Russ Lande
Pick: Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
Comment: "There are many rumors connecting the Cowboys to Memphis nose tackle Dontari Poe. But if Brockers is available, they will select him because he is a much better prospect than Poe."
NationalFootballPost.com's Wes Bunting
Pick: Brockers
Comment: "Brockers is as talented as any defensive lineman in the draft and is capable of maturing into a real game changer up front. He’s got the ability to play all over the Cowboys defensive line early and offers them a lot of versatility in their 34 front."
