Tony Romo remains involved in preparations

It doesn't look like Tony Romo will be put on injured reserve. He is preparing for his return.
Asked if the Cowboys were considering putting Romo on IR, interim head coach Jason Garrett said, ``I just think we have to evaluate it medically ... on a daily and a weekly basis and just see where he is.
``I haven't learned a whole lot new about him. I know he's working hard to get himself back. He's in that training room a lot and he's doing what he can to get that thing healed up but it just takes time.''
Garrett said Romo remains actively involved in preparations.
``He's in early, he's in that training room a 7 a.m. every morning, and he's in our meetings and once we go out on the practice field they have a whole regimen for him to go through some different rehab stuff, but he's very much involved, the ideas keep coming and he's engaged with our football team.''
