They should allow Bowles to go out and get his own QB. Jets draft 6th, so he might be able to find something useful there. I doubt Jacksonville goes after a QB and Oakland won't. Looks like Snyder is dumb enough to stick with Bob Griffin, so Jets could take #3 QB if nothing else comes up.

So hiring Bowles gives the jets what exactly that they didn't have last year? Other than a new voice.. I don't see how they upgraded from Rex. And I think highly of Bowles I just think he brings the same Rex did. There's not even a change in defensive philosophy. Add Chan Gailey on offense... I wouldn't be too excited about this if I were a Jets fan.
