The lockout has been lifted, but everything is in a holding pattern, especially around Valley Ranch.

There is some uncertainty about what the players can do:

Can players report to Valley Ranch to work to get started on offseason workouts?
Can players report to Valley Ranch for medical treatment for recovering injuries such as Dez Bryant (ankle)?
Can players talk to coaches and front office staff?
Can roster moves be made?

The easy answer is no to all these questions. One agent said he doubted if many players will show up to Valley Ranch on Tuesday.

There are players who are due workout bonuses but the team hands some of those out in September. Marion Barber is due a roster bonus in June but with this latest news does it change things. Marc Colombo is due a option bonus within the first 15 days of the new league year, but that hasn't started yet, despite the lockout being lifted.

The Cowboys don't have plans to do anything with their roster until the legal process is finalized.

So despite the ruling on hold, league business is still on hold.
