I hate these kinds of people. But a lot of good comedy here from his made up source. He even puts his source name in ""

What a loser.

It's been awhile since I've posted one of these, mainly because I haven't seen my Insider friend in almost a year. He works as a contractor in my office so we see each other in passing every once in awhile. I need to keep this short and sweet because i'm slammed at work, but wanted to share because each time I have in the past, quite a few of you really appreciated the input (while a bunch of you also remain skeptical, which is totally fine by me).

Some of the input I've received in the past when speaking to "John":
•Greg Hardy didn't have a snowball's chance in hell in remaining here because his attitude was terrible
•Brice Butler was extremely arrogant and wouldn't have a future here
•Dez time was limited
•Jason Garrett was locked in and far from the hot seat

There's more but it's not coming to me because it was such a long time ago. I do remember that he was right about a lot of things, but not right about everything which makes sense since he's not on the coaching staff.

In seeing him this time here is some of the more recent input he provided:
•TTaco has a terrible attitude. Has butted heads with Haley consistently and while he has the natural talent, he lacks a positive attitude and isn't coachable. Said he wouldn't be surprised to see us waive him even while still on rookie contract.
•Says Dorrance Armstrong is for real and is the guy to keep an eye on rather than Taco.
•Says Jaylon Smith is still only at 85-90% and has A LOT more to offer as he continues to heal.
•Says going after Earl Thomas in FA is unlikely as we don't feel the need to pay him especially after coming off of season ending injury.
•Believes Tyron Smith should be shut down for the year. The guy is seriously banged up from head to toe.
•Says Cole Beasley's attitude is crap. Mentioned a play where the ball hit him in the head and rather than trying to make the play he stopped and looked at Dak before realizing the ball was still in play. Said he got ripped by coaches for not continuing until the whistle was blown. (i didn't watch the Indy game so i don't know what he's referring to). But said Cole will most likely be gone next year
•Said Linehan is most likely gone along with Kellen Moore.
•Here's where it gets crazy......
•Says we aren't as high on Dak as we say we are. Doesn't believe he gets a big contract. Says we really like Mullens from San Fran. ????? Can see us making a trade for him at some point.
•I'm a Dak supporter so I obviously didn't want to hear this but I'm just reporting
•Says we'd also be open to Romo coming in to join the coaching staff. I know it's crazy, I SWEAR i wouldn't make this up. maybe my guy is full of it, but this is what he told me.

That's all I have for you guys. Please don't PM me asking me to ask him specific questions, as I don't know when i'll see "John" again. Please don't ask me to prove my source is real, as I truly don't care to prove anything. I'm not here for fame or credit. I'm just a cowboys fan sharing info I've received as I'd like anyone else to as well. If I remember anything else I'll add to this thread later!

Instead of the fakeass "my guy on the inside tells me" crap, why not just make the "bold" predictions yourself? Is it done so that when you're toweringly wrong, you have the built-in out?

Never understood the mentality behind this type stuff. You're already pretty anonymous. Your online ego can be bruised? Your fictitious persona?

Cole Beasely's attitude is crap, but you don't need inside sources for that call. All you need to do is spend about 5 minutes reading his Twitter account. Won't be sorry to see that 5 foot nothing diva go somewhere else.

Dbair, I think he has "John" in quotes because it's not his real name. Could the guy know someone who has access? Sure. If anything, it makes for some interesting reading so I don't mind it.

I will say thins though. I thought the same thing about Beasley when the ball clanked off his helmet. He gave up on the play and instead of falling on his sword, he acted like a real douche-bag. He wasn't going to be here anyway next year so whatever. Good riddance.

The Dak thing is kind of interesting along with Linehan and Moore being gone. Not that they shouldn't be fired, but that the Red Dolt survives. Very plausible scenario; everyone is the fall guy for Garrett. I also believe the front office knows exactly what they have in Dak which is nothing. I won't believe they'll invest 100 million in such a flawed QB who is near the bottom of the league. I'll just ride this year out and wait for the day we find a guy that can read a defense and pass the football.

Raise your hand if you think they like Nick Mullens? As a backup I am all in, not so much as future franchise QB.

Everything about what the alleged "John" said is totally plausible, no quarrel there.

I found that post interesting but took it with a grain of salt as I do everything on the internet. It didnt strike me as uber crazy either

I've made similar posts over at the zone passing along Rynie's sources predictions and gotten similar responses of outrage

Its kind of funny when you're on the other side and know you're not making things up but everyone believes you are.

If the guy wants to hang ass out there, let him.
It's kinda stupid, but it's his deal.
I mean Rynie was pretty specific about Gregory and was correct.
This guy's source sounds like a cold read from a psychic hotline. Beasley's a douche? Tell me more.

Yeah I know it was a "made up name"...made up name for made up source

Sure. If anything, it makes for some interesting reading so I don't mind it.

So you must have loved other fakers like Couchscout, Sdogo and Hos then huh?

Like TZS said, everyone has been able to pretty much see through Beasley for a long time now. Didn't need a fake source guy to tell us that.

I wouldn't give Prescott a contract extension until I absolutely had to (and that isn't now, or this offseason) but I don't believe for a second that Jones would sacrifice Prescott to keep Garrett.

Yeah some totally made up b/s there, just like most of that other garbage. Not that some of the content probably isn't accurate, but that its content anyone could get by keeping up with stuff on the internet. It didn't come from a fake source.

No it wasn't. That Mullens and Romo stuff was completely made up. The rest of it he pilfered or just embellished from stuff any slob could find anywhere on the interwebs.

Plausible that it could happen, not plausible that there's some "source."

I don't think either has a snowballs chance of happening, or has been even remotely discussed.

The Romo as a coach thing is a really fucking joke IMO. Zoner fools slobber all over the idea, but there is absolutely no shred of evidence anywhere that he is 1) qualified and 2) has any interest. Why the hell after years of a joke of Garrett as a HC "coach in learning" would you want to hire ANOTHER fucking "experiment" and "hope" it works.

Dude, were talking Jerry here. Not me.

This shit is plausible because IT'S JERRY.

Have you not had your coffee this morning?

Too many things don't ring true on that list. Jerry, who waited forever on Gregory, is gonna release Taco before his contract's up? Not his style.

Not his style when he LIKES the guy and the guy has a SJ backstory he likes.
