One day, we're going to learn that we've been run by a shadow government the last 4 years. These fucks are simply ideologues who would stop at nothing to promote their sick agenda, even at the expense of the country and the presidency. Think about this.....these fucks never governed thinking about the will of the people. They just thought the fraud would get them over the hump. There needs to be some serious internal investigations as to what the fuck was going on the last 4 years.

The thing is, lots of government employees get pensions like that. It is not just for congress. Very few private companies offer pensions plans now-a-days. Almost all private sector workers are given 401k plans that depend on investment growth to accumulate wealth for retirement. If congress tanks the economy, or causes inflation, all those private plans lose value. Congress doesn't have to worry about that.

If you ask me congress should be on the same investment plans as their voters. Let them have a stake in the economy too so if they screw up their retirement plans suffer too.

You could cut it with a knife. Jimmy Carter blamed it on the American people. Ronald Reagan defeated him in a landslide election and not a slim margin landslide like Trump claims he won over Biden and Harris. Reagan carried 44 states and 489 electoral votes. He defeated Jimmy Carter by 8.5 million votes.

Bingo!

Now that all the Democrats who kept the coverup going for 4 years are talking, we know that they were covering for Biden as early as April of 2021! Biden was already suffering from dementia when he was elected. Some of us point out Biden's decline during teh campaign but Democrats and the media covered it all up. This should be a crime. In the meantime, congress was suing for Trump's tax returns!

One wonderful byproduct to that era is that the climate, mood and tension from all of the above set the stage for one of the greatest sports moments in history:



I remember it well, I was in 6th grade, the game wasn't even shown live but rumors started circulating we had upset the Russians, they grew and grew until breaking news confirmed what we never thought was possible.

Watching the replay later that night was one of the best sports moments of my life (and I've been fortunate to have a lot of them)

Reagan never had to fight the corruption and out and out treason that Trump has faced. Reagan won in a landslide in a legitimate election where everyone knew the results within hours of the polls closing. Reagan didnt have to fight millions and millions of fraudulent votes or a corrupt deep state machine.

If Trump had the same playing field Reagan had in 1980, it would have been a massive landslide. In fact Trump probably won in a significant landslide in 2020 as well.
