What an awesome night last night at RNC. I somewhat recall watching my first one with my Dad back in the mid 70's (I think it was 76) but of the ones I have strong memory of, there's no doubt this 2024 convention so far is the best ever.

Tremendous job by all the speakers last night. Even Nikki Haley (who I do not like or support) managed to have a very positive message. The others were absolute rock stars.

Cant wait for the next two nights. I suspect DJT's speech tomorrow night is going to be one of the all-timer type greats.

I wasn't a fan of Haley's speach, nor the Teamster's boss. Now, if he would have endorsed Trump, that would have been something. But he said something to the effect that they're beholden to neither party and that's BS. The unions have alwasy endorsed the Dems even while their jobs were going overseas. I wasn't impressed and thoght he was a blowhard.

But I agree......everyone else was superb, especial Ben Carson, Marco Rubio and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The lasy that lost her son was also good.

Those "everyday people" speakers were all pretty impactful, and several of them were former Dem supporters.

Agree with you on Teamsters speaker, he admitted he was a lifelong Dem and didnt really say anything (this was a separate interview I saw with him earlier in the day) about considering a vote for Trump. Then he claimed his members were split 50/50 and I don't believe that's the case at all. We had segments of represented labor (very large) at my former company, and probably 90% or more voted for Obama, Clinton and Biden). The union leaderships are also pretty outspoken locally to their people about supporting the Dem cause too.

I still wish Haley had not been there and sounds like a significant number of people who were actually there feel the same. But her speech was "ok"

I havent heard Ted Cruz's yet but heard he was really good, have heard most of Vivek's now and he was strong.

Loved the later evening lineup though, thought they all nailed it.

He may very well have Parkinson's...

But, he said, "There's been a Parkinson's specialist coming to the White House eight times in the past year." The senator was referring to official visitor logs which showed Parkinson’s disease specialist Dr. Kevin Cannard coming to the White House on eight separate occasions between July 2023 and March.
