Sydney Powell claimed that she had the smoking gun

Then she showed up to a murder case with hundreds of witnesses stating that the husband could have killed his wife, and how he could have done it

But zero witnesses that actually saw the murder

And no murder weapon

Oh, and no actual dead body either

I didn't see that, last I saw they hadn't announced either way on that one.

I believe they have to take law suits between states and I thought I read that somewhere today. It goes directly to the SCOTUS. Maybe they could punt that one too? We'll know soon enough.....

If the claims are that mail in ballots were illegally sent out to voters without the laws in each state being changed accordingly before hand to allow for this then they should have included all 9 states in the suit that automatically sent out ballots to all registered voters

Which includes CA and it’s 55 EC votes

If you can delegitimize those 55 votes alone it would drop Biden’s total to below 270

The Supreme Court rejected an appeal by Pennsylvania Republicans that would have blocked certification of the state’s election results, granting its Electoral College votes to Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden.

CNN reports that the decision not to take up the appeal was unanimous

This could be the saving grace

Other states are now jumping on this as well according to newsmax

They are also reporting that SCOTUS didn’t automatically dismiss the case and has actually required a response from the 4 states named in the suit and that they are requiring that each state respond by 3pm Thursday afternoon to this bill of complaint.

According to Trumps lawyer Jordan Sekulow this is the case they have been talking about, this is the outcome determinative case with 62 EC votes at stake which is enough to change the outcome of the election. This is for all the marbles so to speak.

If they can prove the election violated the electors clause which is count 1, then each states legislature would be able to select new electors. And as we know, each of the 4 states named are Republican controlled therefore it would be likely to move in Trumps favor. If the states have a problem seating new electors it then goes to the house which is also Republican controlled and they will seat new electors.

Trumps lawyer is stating that this is the be all end all case to determine the outcome of this election.

As I’m listening to all this the ticker at the bottom of the screen pops up stating that 8 more states have since jumped on board and backed the Texas lawsuit!!

Now this sounds more like the Kraken finally being released!

Let’s all hope it works. So far this sounds like the best chance at success.

Fingers crossed

When did that happen?

It hasn’t happened

If Trump wins the case then each state gets to select the electors

“If” the states refuse to select new electors for whatever reason then that is when it goes to the house to select the new electors

They didn’t state why a state may opt not to select new electors

All this was being reported on Newsmax directly following the game tonight

I would expect most of the Southern states except for North Carolina, Virginia and obviously Georgia will end up joining this. We may also see some other states like Ohio and the Dakotas end up joining.

I'm not holding my breath Scott. I'm convinced SCOTUS lacks courage, as do the state legislatures. There's a clear constitutional issue with state judges changing laws that only the legislature has the authority to do. But Trump is a disruptor and interferes with the establishment's wine and cheese circuit.

We've also had a couple of Dems that have been compromised by Chinese spies who used the same playbook with Hunter Biden and the Corpse. Not a peep from the media. Now we all know how politicians become millionaires while in office. If it's not the Chinese, it's big tech and back door deals to enrich themselves.

I pray they have the courage to take action. It would have been better had Texas presented this a few weeks ago but I think there is a chance it will succeed because it goes to the heart of the purpose of the Constitution. The left has shown over and over they would use the Constitution as toilet paper at any and every opportunity where it limits their blatant power grabs. I think there is a decent chance that at least 5 Justices hold the document in a little higher esteem. They are requesting the defending states submit documentation which is a great sign they will at least hear the case. Time will tell whether it will succeed but there needs to be a lot of other states that join Texas in this endeavor which has the best chance of success.

This is the first case that wasn’t completely dead on arrival and actually seems to have gained a bit of traction

We gotta take our wins where we can get them

I just hope you are wrong and that SCOTUS shows some backbone here

When did that happen?
It's "controlled" in this context in that the electors are chosen by the state delegations as a whole, not by the individual congressweasels....In this case the count is 26 (R), to 23 (D), with one state split....Conventional wisdom sez that Trump would end up winning, but you have to factor in that we're talking about republicans here, who collectively don't possess enough vertebrae to complete a full spinal column.

I have a couple questions. One I posed here before which is why didn’t Texas name all 9 states that sent out ballots to every registered voter?

Some of them are Dem run states. But the same issue happened in each state so I don’t see a reason not to name them in the lawsuit.

2nd - why did it take Texas, a state not directly involved in the action to file on behalf of the 4 swing states named in the case? Why didn’t one of the states in question file on their behalf? We know that there is support for this lawsuit because many other states have jumped on board and supported it. With more likely to come.

Thank you Texas for having the balls to do something. But why didn’t this come from one of the named states?

It doesn’t make sense to me

WI - Democrat Governor and AG.
PA- Democrat Governor and AG.
MI - Democrat Governor and AG.
GA - Republican Governor and AG who are acting as though they have things to hide.

I'm here to help.

Trump Vows to intervene in the Texas case
I wish he would stay out of it. Keep any politics or at least perceived politics out of it and let the case stand on its own merits purely based on Constitutionality.
