He was spot on about this as well, this was actually a lead into his comments about who's hosting the debate where he calls for that fucking idiot woman spawn of Romney family to be rightfully fired. She should have never gotten the job in the first place. She's a fucking LOSER who is loved by Rinos.

This was my point to Yim. Vivek is saying things that deSantis should be saying. Vivek has become to non-Trump vocal voice of the conservatives. DeSantis is toast.

That was awesome. Calling them out to their faces, he just laid a large dump on NBC

Yim your boy is getting beat up a little over last night.

I am supposed to be outraged over a comment Vivek made about Haley's daughter, when the NY AG is dragging Trump's kids into court and verbally abusing them even though they did nothing wrong? How about a little outrage over the fact that a DA is taking real action to punish Trump's kids just because they are Trump's kids?

You misunderstood buddy. My comment was an indictment of DeSantis, not Vivek.

Vivek is doing what DeSantis and others should have done. But DeSantis's plan was to sit back and let the Dems and corrupt courts get rid of Trump so he could inherit the nomination. His political career is over......
I don't agree with this. DeSantis didn't start the fight with Trump. Trump started attacking DeSantis and calling him "DeSanctimonious" before DeSantis even announced he was running. There was and is nothing DeSantis can do about Trump's legal problems. Maybe if Trump did not start attacking him DeSantis would be more supportive. In anty case, I don't think Trump has a chance of winning in 2024 even if the election is fair.

And, by the way, if everyone who is so certain Dems will cheat to win again in 2024 the why even bother? Why not just capitulate and give teh country to the commies? Or why not pick up arms and fight to save our freedom? But again, if we unite, and focus on stopping the Dems from cheating by participating in teh process, legally staking out voting places and keeping an eye on the votes then we can still pull this off.

In any case, this is exactly the problem we have in the party regardless of which side we are talking about. Why can't we have a primary without the name-calling and personal attacks? If Trump is so far ahead, why is he even talking about DeSantis? The fact is DeSantis was one of our great hopes for the future of the conservative movement and that might be over now. Who benefits from this? Democrats. Reagan said, "First, do no harm." this is what he was talking about. Now we have a battle within the party, less unity than ever and we are heading into maybe the most important election in the history of this country. The stakes are far too high to throw away another election over personal squabble and hurt feelings.

I hear Republicans say they will not vote for DeSanmtis if he is the nominee, or Trump if he is the nominee. I certainly hope these are hollow words, like liberals threatening to leave the country, because it is the talk of losers.

I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee, but I will not vote for him in the primary because of what he has done to the party in the last year. He time has come and gone. He will be as old as Biden when he is in office. We can do better.

my bad...feels harsh for DeSantis too, he seems like he's done a decent job if I can trust the news about him and if so, that more important than having the best political strategy, I really hate this entire system

I know I'm in LaLaLand but to me these jobs should be filled by people who care aboutt country first and foremost and as much as possible be given to folks who have lived and worked in the country for decades and now have some time and wisdom to give back

ha, I śaw that

I think they're over reacted (per usual) to what he said but I also was scratching my head wondering why he decided to attack her all night, I dont like seeing people on the same team trying to take each others knees out to get the job...sell people on your ideas using logic, reason and compelling discourse (which I think he's done quite well thus far) and then let the chips fall where they may.

Feels like crabs in a barrel when they pull this shit

DeSantis has been a great governor for Florida and he is EXTREMELY popular there. They are probably the best run state in the country.

I actually agree with you. I didn't think what he said was all that controversial. It isn't like he claimed she was a street whore who was giving out $20 blowjobs or something.

The MSM is just looking for someone, ANYONE they can get behind not named Trump or DeSantis. Haley is their darling now because 1) they know she can't win in a general election 2) she is not named Trump/DeSantis 3) she's a woman and they used that Vivek moment to play the victim card

The system is corrupt so this probably won't go anywhere but I was wonder what authority is there to curb out of control judges? There are multiple ammendments in the bill of rights designed to prevent persecution of individual citizens by the government and yet this is what we are seeing with the approval of multiple judges. How do we reign this in? It would help if teh Roberts Supreme Court would get tough in their rebukes of the lower courts that violate the constitutional rights of citizens.

Does anyone have a reliable source for a cliff notes explanation of what the prosecutor in NYC is claiming Trump did?

I dont have time to keep up with all this stuff but what I've gathered is she's claiming he overvalued real estate for a loan with a bank (that has since been paid off).

Is that really the crux of the case?

Ive been in the real estate business for 30 years and have taken out a lot of loans and in every single case, they dont give two shits what I think the property is worth. I could say I think my property is worth a billion and it would just be my opinion that means nothing to a lender and their underwriter. The 3rd part appraiser determines the value for the basis of the loan and then a deal is made relying on that appraisal. So unless Trump manipulated the appraiser/appraisal, there is no crime here and if thats the extent of the claim, this should never have gone to court in the first place.

Surely I'm mistaken?

It's all utter hoghwash, pretty much all anyone needs to know.

Coordinated effort with other George Soros linked prosecutors, the Democrap party and certain Rino swamp turds to keep dragging Trump through the mud as much as possible in the hopes it will somehow sway voters in 2024.

They started this shit before Trump was ever sworn in as the Pres, and they've kept this waste of m trash up ever since.

Come on now Creeper. Everyone knew DeSantis was going to run. Matter of fact, I'd bet we all hoped for a Trump DeSantis ticket and were a bit dissapointed when he decided to primary Trump. But DeSantis showed his ass early and often. I may not agree with Trump's methods but I do agree with his reasoning. DeSantis stabbed Trump in the back. That's just the reality of the situation and Trump started firing off shots. I don't blame him, although I may not agree with the way he did it.

What choice do we have but to at least vote? And people did staff (stake out) the drop boxes in AZ and were video taping any suspect activity. To the point where the left took these people to court to get them to vacate. But then they out-thought all of us and fucked with the machines. The fraud occurred right before our eyes and blatently out in the open. People are still takeing election commissions to court to release public documents for inspection and th left has been fighting them for the last 3 years. Voting is supposed to be transparent but the left leaning courts are covering for their treason.

If Trump is so far ahead, why is he even talking about DeSantis? The fact is DeSantis was one of our great hopes for the future of the conservative movement and that might be over now.

What do you mean by "if Trump is so far ahead?" Do you think the numbers are off or someone is lying? What you should be asking is what are these people (primary candidates) doing? The only person who may have had a shot at beating Trump was DeSantis. If anything, the others should have backed out and made it a 2 person primary for the good of the party and country. But they didn't. And then DeSantis just kept shooting himself in the foot. He got poor advice and his instincts were even poorer to not take a different path/tact. He can't win by attacking Trump. Yet there he goes. Americans/Conservatives need a fighter. They don't need a Ryan/McConnell/Romney Republican which is exactly what DeSantis is.

I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee, but I will not vote for him in the primary because of what he has done to the party in the last year. He time has come and gone. He will be as old as Biden when he is in office. We can do better.

Trump has done nothing but expose the corruption in DC. No one could take the amount of heat he's taking. No one. That's just a fact. That's why people like him. He's a fighter. And he's getting 20 plus percent of the black vote and a rising percentage of the Hispanic vote. The line of thought in the past was if a Republican could get a percentage of black voters in the low teens, he/she would win. Trump did much more than that and lost because of the fraud. You may not know it yet, but he's the only person that can energize people to vote in record numbers and draw minority groups into the Republican ranks. That's just the way it is.

I liked DeSantis too. I really did. And I thought he was the future of the party for a while. But he's made bad decisions and he's just waiting to inherit the Republican nomination instead of earning it. He's waiting for the rigged and corrupt judicial system to beat Trump because he can't.

I believe this to a point. But have you been to Florida? Yes, people have moved there by the boatloads. But the place has gotten way over-priced and expensive. I own property there and I go there often. It's unaffordable. And it will blow up. Mark my words. Florida's best selling point was that it was a better alternative than these leftist over-taxed states. But Florida is getting there.......

Last thing I'll say about DeSantis because I've seen scrubs like him come and go. DeSantis thought he was too big for his own britches. He thought he was the king after winning Florida by double digits against a poor oppononent. He thought he would be crowned as the new leader of the Republican party by default. His ego got the best of him and he was put in his place. Completely exposed as the rag that he is.

Had he gone to Trump early and discussed the future of the party and having a place in any future Trump administration, or even as a VP candidate, it would have been a GREAT ticket. Had he been vocal about the DoJ/establishment coming after Trump, he could have endeared himself to the base as a fighter. But the egomaniac took the bait and thought he was king shit. He forgot who helped to get him elected. He forgot that he had skeletons in his closet like we all do. He thought he'd inherit the party leadership while aligning himself with Ryan/McConnell/Romney and taking their money. And he miscalculated Trump's appeal even after Trump got 71 million (or more) votes. He ate the cheese. Fuck him.
