US President Joe Biden has hired a "very expensive" lawyer whose "only job" is to keep him out of jail, says Curtin University political analyst Joe Siracusa.

It comes as President Biden's legal team is preparing to defend against the possibility of impeachment if Republicans gain a majority in Congress after midterm elections.

"All the analysts in America, pundits, are picking a landslide at the midterm elections in November," Professor Siracusa told Sky News Australia.

"President Biden knows they're coming for him.

"They're going after him, the kid (Hunter), they're going to go after his performance ... they're going to go after incompetence.

"Particularly, they're going to start with the departure from Kabul in Afghanistan and they're going to go to the southern border.

"Biden knows it’s coming – he hired a very expensive fellow; he's going to be called special counsel and his only job is to keep President Biden out of jail.

Speeking of corruption, here in PA Dr. Oz holds a slim lead against McCormick for US Senate. But, have no fear, there are thousands of mail in ballots that have yet to be counted. Dishonesty is the poison that is running through the body politic. The 18 yr old shooter in Buffalo was clearly not affiliated with any group of movement. He was a lone nut, a mentally ill man who acted out his mental illness. What Democrats will do now is to prolong this incident in an attempt to make it a wedge issue, which in itself is dishonest and to a degree immoral. But while this crazy individual shoe 13 people killing 10 in one incident, 4 times that many people are shot every weekend in Chicago along. Crime is running rampant in our country. But no one one the left attributes that violence to any group or movement. They do not even consider a possible cultural issue. They just ignore it because they have not figured out a way to exploit those victims for their own political benefit.
