I have been saying this. This is why they are making such an over-the-top effort to claim the Capitol protest was domestic terrorism and insurrection. It is why they banned Trump and his biggest supporters from Twitter and Facebook, and why they got Parler kicked off of Amazon. They are concerned Trump would organize a huge counter protest during Biden's inauguration. Even this FBI report about plans for some kid of violence in all the state capitals and in Washington DC is made up nonsense. This is all a master plan to keep Trump supporters home and away from the TV cameras that will cover Biden on inauguration day. Just don't forget the massive protests against Trump last year.

And I also don't think Biden could draw a crowd so I am sure the answer is not to allow anyone as an excuse for the 5 people who would show up otherwise.

So a Democrat judge in Seattle, appointed by Jimmy Carter, thinks she can just take her time deciding to grand an injunction forcing Amazon to put Parler back up on AWS web servers.

Amazon is potentially inflicting permanent damage on Parler over a dispute about whether Parler met Amazon's terms of service. Amazon claims Parler has not acted to remove certain posts from its service. Parler says it has removed all posts which violate the law, including posts proposing violence. In fact, Parler has reported these posts to the law enforcement authorities. Apparently, the dispute is really over a post that insulted Michelle Obama that Parler refused to remove because it is protected by the 1st amendment. The judge knows that the injunction can be removed at any time and in a contract dispute the court acts to not harm either party until the case is resolved.
If Amazon restores Parler, they are certainly not harmed. In fact, they stand to profit from Parler's payment of web hosting fees. On the other hand, by denying a quick injunction, Parler is at risk of failure. The longer this takes, the more likely Parler never returns to service. If there was ever a case requiring an emergency injunction it is this one. Also, by dragging her feet on a decision, probably until after inauguration day, the judge make a case for appeal unlikely as well. The appellate court is unlikely to hear an appeal until a decision in rendered in the original complaint.

Our courts have been completely spoiled by politics. Andthis puts tine future of the country at risk.
