It was like watching the fvcking directors cut, damn it was long. The urban battle scene is going down in my book as the single worst planned urban battle everywhere. Columns were old fashioned in the napoleonic wars, and forget the ridiculousness of cops with pistols charging an army with assault weapons and armored tanks, why would they holster their guns and start a fist fight? And how did they win it?

I mean you get the chance for an urban battle, door by door fighting, ambushes, and constant attacks from different angles and instead you say, well lets do what worked for gangs of new york...


It had a decent ending, but about a 1/3 of he scenes leading upto it could have been cut. Visually it was pretty cool as well.

Why are they calling this the final Batman? Because Bale wants to hang it up? Certainly more Batman movies will be made with a different lead actor.

It's evident Heath Ledger made The Dark knight because these batman movies aren't even half as good without him.

TDKR is incredibly overrated. Not sure what all the hype is about.

It was rated 87% on rottentomatoes. I haven’t seen the new one, but i liked the first two. Bale is a great actor. I don’t see how the movie could actually suck as bad as the OP is claiming.
