From ESPN....

Crayton was traded to the San Diego Chargers for a seventh-round pick in next year's draft. The deal could get upgraded to a sixth-round pick if Crayton catches 40 or more passes in 2010.

Dallas picked up a sixth-round pick for McQuistan, who was a seventh-round pick in 2006. McQuistan, drafted as a tackle, was moved to guard this season. He played in just seven games, with no starts, mainly on special teams.

Taking it in total, if you asked me this morning if I would trade Crayton for 2 6th round picks I would have said no. So I can't like these deals.

Separately, the Crayton trade is all kinds of awful. Getting a 6th for McQuistan is real nice.

I'll be rooting for Crayton to get 40 passes. I doubt he will though, despite his increased role in San Diego.

Our offense will be better this year than in years past . . . and Crayton won't even be missed. I'm glad to get rid of his Ellis-like whining as well.

I love the McQuistain deal, even though I've read where only trading picks with Miami if they have a worse record than us - which they will. Still . . . to get absolutely anything for a guaranteed cut is a steal.

My local paper reported the McQuistan deal as future considerations.
