ARLINGTON, Texas -- Assistant head coach Jimmy Robinson had a message for Dez Bryant when the Cowboys wide receiver came back to the sideline after a third-down drop forced a punt on the opening series.

“Hey, that’s your one drop for the year,” Bryant said Robinson told him.

Bryant had what would have been a first down, but he turned too quickly and the ball fell to the ground.

“I took my eye off the ball and I shouldn’t have,” Bryant said. “That’s a little mind mistake. That can be fixed. That’s not me. I’m glad it’s preseason. I’m glad it doesn’t really count. My standards are very high about catching the football. One drop is too many.”

Bryant finished with two catches for 13 yards. On both receptions, he attempted to break several tackles and took a couple of big hits.

“Coach hasn’t said anything to me,” Bryant said. “I’m pretty sure he wants me to fall down when I can’t get anymore. I just look to score every time I touch the ball. I think that’s the way you’re supposed to play football … If you play offense you should feel like no guy can bring you down. I don’t care if it’s 100 guys, you’ve got to keep your legs moving.”

Jimmy Robinson should next tell Miles Austin that he's only allowed 1 tipped ball INT this year.

and Jason Witten is done for a lifetime of hackeysack back-heel interceptions.

Oh man, don't get me started. That shit is infuriating. I hate when he just puts one hand up in the air on those passes.
