Charles Haley says all of Tom Brady's Super Bowl wins are tainted | NFL | Sporting News

Charles Haley, five-time Super Bowl winner, isn't fully convinced of Tom Brady's talents. The Patriots quarterback is coming off his fourth championship and knocking at the door of number five. Haley, who won two of his rings with Joe Montana, isn't impressed by Brady's accomplishments.

"Joe didn't have to cheat," Haley told the Talk of Fame Network. "I've lost all respect (for Brady). When your integrity is challenge in the game of football, to me, all his Super Bowls are tainted."

Although the newest inductee into the Hall of Fame understands that things happen, he admits there's something off about the Deflate-gate situation.

"I realize there were 12 balls deflated and 12 ain't," Haley continued. "Then you've got (Bill) Belichick coming on three different times trying to explain it ... you know something is wrong."

If you're thinking the Super Bowl win over the Seahawks would sway Haley's perception of Brady, think again.

"How he's redeemed himself? What'd he throw?" Haley asked. "Every time he tried to throw deep it didn't work or he threw it in the ground."

Haley goes on to say Brady's throws to Julian Edelman were short, "5-yard" passes that were easier to make.

There will always be the talk of Delfate-gate when mentioning how the Patriots got to Super Bowl XLIX, but Haley sees it as an insurmountable hill to overcome for the Patriots.

"Hopefully they come come out and let us know what really happened, then all the mystery is gone," Haley said.
Whatta meanie.

Haley is the only player with five rings. probably doesn't want Tom to join that elite company.
