The future of the 2011 season is uncertain more than ever with the NFLPA deciding to decertify and changing from a union to a professional trade association.

The move by the union follows 16 days of federally mediated negotiations in which the union, presented with a proposal from the league's owners group late Friday afternoon as a 5 p.m. decertification deadline approached, rejected the offer as "significant differences continue to remain," union chief DeMaurice Smith said.

Smith said he was sorry for the fans.

We have yet to hear from the trio of Cowboys union reps, Jason Witten, DeMarcus Ware and Bradie James, regarding the union's decision to decertify.

Early in the 2010 season, the Cowboys as a group, voted to decertify if things between the union and the owners failure to reach a new CBA.

"Gotta do what you gotta do that’s what I know," Cowboys running back Tashard Choice said on Twitter. "Proud of the nflpa. It’s always about money, sad but true."

Later on Choice added: "Just in case some of [you] say why I said I was proud of the nflpa is because they want a fair deal not because it won't be football. Sorry fans for this dispute but hopefully a deal gets worked out and we can play football cause 2011 will be a big year."

Thought you guys might enjoy this. This is the personal message via facebook I received from Choice for criticizing his stance. I suggested he sell the glove Vick signed and donate it to the 150,000 families who will be effected by a lock out.

Good job.

These players don't get it. They act like they are one of us. At least the Owners usually don't pretend to be all about the fans while fighting over their share of our money. The players rush to the social networking sites pledging their loyalty to the fan base while demanding a new deal that will only increase prices on the same already stretched too thin fans.

Tashard Choice is a punk. His response proves it. Say it to my face? Give me a break. What is this, junior high school?

BTW Tashard Choice is freaking stupid. Jerry may be a terrible GM, but he hooks his players up. This is kind of slapping him the face, cheering the NFLPA on and blaming the owners for this situation.

Yeah because the tax-payer funded stadiums by these billionaire owners is certainly not the reason for the rise in ticket prices.:hand

They get publicly funded stadiums and still want to raise ticket prices.

No player in the NFL has gotten "hooked up" more than Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees. All three of whom lead the contingent in filing a lawsuit agaisnt the NFL and owners. Now are they being "freaking stupid"? Are they also slapping their respective owners in their faces and blaming them for the situation?

I really hate this guy. If any of our players has to go down with an injury, he's about at the top of the wish list.

Too bad their probably wont be a CBA done before the draft, would have love to see him traded out of here.

Yeah F Choice and Barber for that matter. I want both of them gone.

We can draft another back in the later rounds. Delone Carter and DeMarco Murray come to mind.

I swear, someone needs to shut this shitbird down. Another waste of a roster space.
