Here's what I saw from the Cowboys' three-hour training camp practice
Sunday afternoon from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington:

• LB Brandon Williams had two good plays early. On the first play of team drills, he would have sacked Stephen McGee. A few plays later, he beat OT Sam Young for another would-be sack of McGee.

• Undrafted rookie free agent kicker Dan Bailey (Oklahoma State) had his worst day of camp. He was 1-for-4 on field goal attempts. He made a 29-yarder but proceeded to miss from 34, 39 and 44 yards. Meanwhile, starter David Buehler was 3-for-4. His 34-yarder was wide right. Overall, Buehler is now 35-for-49 in camp and Bailey is 37-for-46.

• WR Raymond Radway, coming off a good practice Saturday and an impressive training camp, struggled Sunday. He dropped a punt and a pass in wide receiver drills within the first hour. Radway also dropped a touchdown pass from Jon Kitna. Rookie WR Dwayne Harris also struggled catching the ball and with his route running.

• LB Victor Butler continued his impressive camp with a great day. He played tight coverage on RB Phillip Tanner in the right flat, forcing Stephen McGee to throw the ball away. On back-to-back plays, he would have a sack each time. First, he beat TE John Phillips on a block to get to Jon Kitna. Then he went right past OT Sam Young for a would-be sack of Stephen McGee. Late in team drills, he also tipped a pass away from Kitna.

• Phil Costa worked at second-team center behind starter Andre Gurode and not left guard. Rookie David Arkin remained at first-team left guard. Rookie Bill Nagy worked at second-team left guard.

• Several wide receivers dropped passes Sunday, including Dez Bryant and Kevin Ogletree. TE John Phillips also had a drop in the right corner of the end zone.

• Felix Jones and Lonyae Miller had some good runs in 9-on-7 drills. Jones showed his speed to the outside, and Miller busted up the middle and into the secondary untouched.

• LB Anthony Spencer knocked down a Tony Romo pass in team drills. NT Jay Ratliff had a good pass rush up the middle and would have sacked Romo.

• DE Jason Hatcher pounced on a fumble by RB Phillip Tanner in 9-on-7 work.

• WR Miles Austin made a great leaping catch of a Jon Kitna pass in the corner of the end zone. Austin tapped both his toes down just inbounds.

• Recently signed WR Curtis Clay made a great diving catch over the middle from Jon Kitna. Rookie CB Josh Thomas didn't touch Clay down, allowing him to get up and score.

• CB Mario Butler intercepted a Stephen McGee fade pass in the end zone intended for Clay in 7-on-7 drills.

• CB Alan Ball made a nice pass breakup in the end zone of a Tony Romo pass. WR Manuel Johnson was pulling in the catch when Ball knocked it away. Later, Johnson tried to make a one-handed catch in the end zone but dropped the ball.

• Safety Barry Church knocked down a Stephen McGee pass in the red zone as McGee rolled to his right and ran out of options.

Sounds like Sam Young is having a horrible camp. Only thing stopping his progress now is himself.

I know it's only practice, but some of these players need to get their head out of their asses.

At this point, I'd cut both kickers and sign another one. Also, dropped passes aren't acceptable.
