Steelers sound-off on Cowboys' 6-10 season: 'It's not about talent. It's about chemistry'

The Pittsburgh Steelers have not faced the Cowboys since December 2008.
And despite the two teams having more Lombardi trophies than any other NFL franchise, the Steelers and Cowboys have had very little in common over the last decade.
However, that doesn't mean this current bunch of Steelers is not aware of the disappointing year the Cowboys put together during the 2010 season.
When asked about the Cowboys 6-10 finish during Tuesday's Super Bowl Media Day, the Steelers appeared just as surprised as the fans and media of North Texas.
"It was shocking just because of the talent they had," Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El said.
Another Steelers receiver felt the same way.
"Any time you have the talent that they have on the team, and the guys that they have, you never expect that," Mike Wallace said. "It just goes to show that talent doesn't make everything here. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you're not headed in the right direction, have the right leaders, the right everything.
"It's not just players and coaches. The whole organization has to be right for things to win. It's not about talent. It's about chemistry."
Former Cowboys offensive tackle Flozell Adams admitted that he was surprised to see some of his old friends turn in a losing record. Adams still communicates with several players in the Cowboys organization, and he stills pulls for the team on Sundays.
"It's unfortunate because I was rooting for those guys," Adams said. "Any time I could watch them on television I was like, 'Come on, come on!' I just felt like I was out there. I was definitely rooting for them. I have the utmost confidence that these guys are going to go out there and do the best they can next year."
Randle El also believes things will turnaround for the team that had six Pro Bowl selections.
"They'll get it together," he said. "I truly believe they will because they have the talent. When you have the talent, you just have to find the right coach or the right player in the locker room that's going to stand up and begin to kick guys out that just are not part of the team.
"You got to be selfless, if you will, to get to this point. And it seems like they have all the talent in the world to get there."
Steelers linebacker Larry Foote was not as convinced about the Cowboys talent level. Foote thinks with a few key additions, a bounce back year is certainly not out of the question.
"You are what your record says you are," Foote said. "To be any good you got to get the right players in there. And you can turn this thing around. Teams have been proving that every year, going 3-13 and the next year going to the playoffs. So they can turn it around."
