First round:
Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
After the Cowboys went bottom of the barrel shopping to fix the interior of the Oline, believing that coaching can cure all, we finally address the middle with a thickly built player that overpowers at the point of attack. Jerry is initially against drafting him, for fears that no one buys Guard jersey, but is finally convinced after deciding to give him Larry Allens old number and talk about him carry on the legacy of #73. Mackenzie Bearnadeau is not consulted with prior to losing his jersey #.
Second round:
Margus Hunt, DE, SMU
Kenyon Coleman and Marcus Spears tenures on the team come to and end. With just Sean Lissemore, Jay Ratliff, and Travis Crawford manning the ends, the team has a glaring need at the position. Hunt is a physical freak that is raw. He'll earn playing time immediately.
Third round:
Nico Johnson, ILB, Alabama
We're shocked to see Nico Johnson, the talented and versatile linebacker from the Crimson Tide still available. The senior prospect not only comes from a premier program, but is a leader on an elite defense. The Cowboys like him at ILB, but knowing he can also play OLB and pressure the QB just adds to his value. Potentially the steal of the draft, as the team considered taking him in round 2.
Fourth round:
Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan
An electric athlete who played QB in college but who's skill set is best suited for WR at the next level. A bit of a project, but hey, it's what we do in this round.
Fifth round:
Braxston Cave, C, Notre Dame
The team finally says, "hey, lets throw at body at center" and takes the best available center on the board.
Sixth round:
