RT @lanlocker: Ryan's D has been great, but Sanchez, Alex Smith and Grossman aren't quarterbacks that can expose any possible flaws on the D

I think it's a good point. Stafford will be our toughest challenge yet - by far. And then comes Brady after the bye.

Cause for concern.

That said, we've been incredible against the run, and that is very encouraging.

No doubt about it....

Stafford, Brady and Bradford all make u defend the whole field....

The other three do not.

Yep, big tests are coming. Although hopefully after the bye we'll have our top 3 CB's on the field together.

No doubt we played 2 weaker teams and with our injuries are fortunate to come out with 2 straight wins. But looking ahead, our next 4 games are:

Detroit
@NE
St. Louis
@ Philly

The Rams are the only one of those 4 that is a very winnable game. We could easily go 1-3 or 2-2 over that stretch putting us at 4-3 or 3-4 going into November. After that we have what appears to be an easier stretch so hopefully we can stay afloat this next month and get healthier and maybe make some noise the last half of the year.

Whatever. Like last week, I said that we will find out what kind of team the Redskins really are, and we did. This week, we will find out as to what kind of team the Lions really are. Not sure as to how you can sit up there and downplay the opponants the Cowboys faced as being "weaker", and yet attempt to talk up the Lions, and ignore their level of competition---two of their opponants, still haven't won a game yet. And the Eagles? Yeah, the Dream Team. After seeing how the Giants manhandled them, if we have both Austin and Bryant, I'm loving them up against the Eagles' secondary.

I'm banking on going 2-2 over the next 4 games.

None of the defenses we're playing over that stretch are anything great.

Normally I'd say beat the Rams and Eagles, lose to the Lions and Pats. I'm thinking we beat Detroit and St. Louis, and lose to tge Pats and Eagles.

That's not saying much. An extreme few QB's are in Brady's league.

But Stafford and Bradford are head and shoulders better than Grossman, Smith, and Sanchez.

Well, and so is Romo. We saw what happened when the Lions faced a team with a prolific pass rush in the Vikings. Stafford hadn't been sacked at all up until that game. And the Cowboys' pass rush is one of the more prolific ones in the league.

I think we can beat Detroit as well. If we can stop the big play and cover Best in the flats we should be able to manage a win like we did the last two weeks.

Stafford and Bradford are not in Brady's league.

No they are not, but that is also not at all what I said.

WHat I said was those three teams throw the football down the field, they will take the big shots whether a guy is covered or not, they will throw it.

the first three we have played are all safe qbs, its about running it, throwing safe throws and living on playaction.

the next three take the ball and throw it down the field forcing you to play the deep ball and the whole field...

So I take it you think we're going 3-1 or better the next 4 games?

Our D gets better and more in shape every week. After the break we should have all our DBs back though I'm worried about Jenks shoulder. This ain't your Wade's D anymore and that's for sure.

I don't know. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we did, especially if we sustain no more injuries and get Austin and Scandrick back, I cannot see why we can't win 3 additional games. Philly is not the juggernaut that all the talking heads claiemd that they would be.
