I hope they aren't implying Franco Harris starts over Emmitt. There isn't a Super Bowl coach alive or dead that would start Harris over Smith, not even Noll.

I haven't reviewed the Super Bowl game statistics for the players who made the Super Bowl list. It would be interesting to see these statistics.

I'm a little surprised that Novacek made the list. He was an important player to the team, obviously, but then there have been other very high impact TEs who have played in this game (e.g., Shannon Sharpe).

Charles Haley played a lot of minutes in the Super Bowl, but did he have any MVP worthy Super Bowl performances? I don't specifically remember that during his time with the Cowboys and I didn't pay close attention to the 49ers' games.

Jackie Smith should've made it over Novacek.

Also maybe Witten for how often he talks about the Super Bowl before each season. Or I guess they don't take that into consideration.

and Larry Allen only played in one SB, although he absolutely leveled Greg Lloyd on one play
