Many NFL Draft experts believe the Dallas Cowboys need help on the offensive line and are in perfect position to grab the top offensive tackle in this month's draft.
SI.com NFL columnist Peter King believes the Cowboys should take the best offensive tackle, but he just doesn't think they will select the right one.
King wrote Thursday about who each team "Will Pick" and "Should Pick" in the first round.
When it came to the Cowboys, he said they would go with USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith. However, he stated they should pick Boston College offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo.
Here is King's reasoning: "Dallas can take the long-term replacement for right tackle Marc Colombo here, and the choice is between the raw but athletically gifted 20-year-old (Smith) or the proven commodity who is the most versatile lineman in the draft (Castonzo). Smith's not a bad pick, but with a roaming QB in Tony Romo, who's subjected to lots of hits and coming off a season-ending injury, give me the surer thing, please."
