Second round pick Bruce Carter could miss entire preseason, putting the opener in jeopardy as well

Rookie linebacker Bruce Carter remains sidelined by a torn anterior cruciate ligament and could miss the entire preseason a source said.

The second round pick is still rehabbing the injury, suffered in November during his final season at North Carolina.

He was placed on the non football injury list to start camp and might be out another month, putting him in danger of missing the entire preseason and possibly the season opener.
