Next up... Dez. Or Tyron Smith. Then Carter.

Say what you want about Jerry, sometimes he locks up bad to mediocre players, but he also locks up his stars.

Finally, a good extension. We've been seeing the Ratliffs, Scandricks, Newmans, and TOs for too long.

Obvious move and could be good.

I am not a fan of paying a guy who has never played a full NFL season a six year deal worth $7 million a season, with the chance to get up to $8.5 million per.

There better be a shit ton of playing incentives in this deal if not it was pretty reckless.

I would wait on Tyron Smith. If he doesn't become an elite LT I would think about moving him to the RT, then look for another LT.

Love the Sean Lee extension. Anyone know who the top payed MLB are?

Spencer will be gone. I understand that we should be in decent cap shape next offseason

I was talking about this year.

As far as next year, I don't think we are in good shape. Ware, Witten, and Romo will need to restructure. Ratliff and possibly Free and Austin, could be cap casualties. Jason Hatcher and Anthony Spencer are free agents and are looking for big contracts.

at least Jerry was smart enough to insist on some injury provisions

Interesting as to how when a fumble involves Sean Lee, Hatcher is the one that recovers.

I hear you. I think they should re-sign Hatcher though. Maybe a 2 year deal. I have no problem with parting ways with Spencer, but we'd be in a world of hurt to lose both Spencer and Hatcher. Besides, I think we can sign Hatcher for cheap.
