Sean Lee has missed only two games with a hamstring but he acknowledged it "feels like an eternity," since his last game.
"It's been a rough start for me, for sure, being injured in camp and then coming out on what was my first play really in the Redskins' game," said Lee, who had a quadriceps strain in camp. "It's tough. It's not what I imagined coming in, but it's a long season and if I keep working and getting better hopefully I can contribute."
Lee will be active Sunday vs. Tennessee and could help take away some of the heavy workload Keith Brooking and Bradie James have had to start the year. Lee is no longer wearing a brace on his knee, although he is wearing a sleeve.
"I'm doing everything possible, getting massages, stretching, eating well, sleeping well, to try to get past these," Lee said. "I've been in the weight room with [Joe Juraszek] too every morning working on my legs. Hopefully with the combination of the work I'll be past this."
