Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times reports on Monday, coach Pete Carroll left linebacker Aaron Curry's role with the team open-ended.

"It's how he responds and fights back and competes that will be important," Carroll said after Curry's demotion from the first-unit defense.

Curry made several responses on Twitter this week that probably weren't what the coach had in mind.

Curry used his Twitter account to indicate that a trade from Seattle may be possible, he expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of playing for the NFL team in his home state of North Carolina and at one point appeared to refer to the Seahawks as "they."

Perhaps, there was no significance to Curry's words beyond cyberspace, but it was puzzling and can't help what is an increasingly strained situation for the former first-round pick.

Dont really see where we have a spot for him.

Choice And Bennett for a guy who is likely to be cut? No way.

I think Choice and Bennett for Tebow would be a better trade. Denver obviously undervalues him even though he proved he should be the starter last year by going 1-2 with a 50% completion rate at the end of last season. ESPN told me Romo sucks so we should get his replacement ASAP. This would save us from having to draft a guy like Luck who needs at least three years of grooming to become half the starter Tebow will be.

I would take Curry..in a trade for Choice or a reasonable, possibly conditional pick. Then, after acquiring Curry, I would immediately waive Keith "Molasses" Brooking.

He has 2 years (this and next) left on his contract so worst case we have depth next year when Brooking's and James' contracts are up.
