Under the NFL's scheduling format, the NFC East next season will square off against the teams of the NFC West and AFC East in addition to the two NFC opponents determined by each team's 2010 victory.
Those matchups against teams like Arizona, Seattle, New England, Buffalo and Miami, all of whom have some level of difficulty defending the pass, may make for an overload of statistical excellence from NFC East quarterbacks next year.
In a Tuesday story, NFL.com Fantasy Editor Michael Fabiano released the website's FPA ratings, basically a strength of schedule index for quarterbacks based on their opponents' fantasy points allowed. All four NFC East quarterbacks ranked in the top five, with Tony Romo No. 1 overall.
Here's what he said about Romo:
Donovan McNabb, who checks in at fifth, may not be back with the Redskins next year, might not figure in, but the rest of the division's passers could be in for a big year.

- "Tony Romo, Cowboys (240.3 points): Romo, who missed most of last season with a broken collarbone, could turn into a great draft bargain. He'll play seven games against teams that were in the top 10 in allowing the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, including matchups against the Redskins (2), Eagles (2) and Seahawks."
