The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled out four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel for their game Saturday afternoon at the Cowboys.
Samuel didn't practice most of this week because of a hamstring injury he suffered in the Eagles' win over the New York Jets last weekend. Samuel aggravated the injury during Tuesday's practice and hasn't practiced since.
Philadelphia coach Andy Reid said earlier in the week that if was unable to play Saturday, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie would start at left cornerback opposite Nnamdi Asomugha.
