What's our plan to get better at both safety spots? I realize the value wasn't there in the draft, so I'm not up in arms about not drafting one.

You can question why we didn't address that position. There was value where we picked, we just didn't pull the trigger.

Resign Spears, Move Rat to end and play Brent in the middle.

I think the starting d-line next year will be Igor-Rat-Bowen

Hatcher, Lissmore and Brent will be the reserves.

I would have liked to have see the 2nd or 3rd picks used on a d-lineman, but hey you can't fix everything at once.

Probably on the right track. I don't think the staff feels the need to move Rat outside, nor do I believe they feel the need to resign Spears.

I thought Spears would be priority #1 this offseason. He's the key to our run defense, imo. If Rob thinks he can be successful without Spears, I'll trust him on that one.
