The Cowboys promoted safety Andrew Sendejo to the active roster after he was on the practice squad for less than a week. The team made room for him by cutting defensive end Jimmy Saddle-McQueen.

Sendejo spent the fall playing for the UFL's Sacramento Mountain Lions. He ranked second in the league with 48 tackles and had seven pass deflections and two interceptions. The Cowboys didn't have to pay the UFL's $150,000 transfer fee because they originally signed Sendejo to the practice squad.

Fullback/defensive end Alex Daniels, who was cut last week to make room for Sendejo, has returned to the Cowboys' practice squad.

So now we're gonna have 5 safeties on the roster. I don't know what that means, and I'm not going to get my hopes up about it (meaning Ball or Sensy could see less playing time). So I'll wait on this one before jumping to conclusions.
