Rucker signed by Jacksonville

They apparently lost one of their TE's for the season, signed Rucker off our practice squad this afternoon.

One guy in CZ says we will rue the day because Rucker will become the next Tony Gonzalez. I thought it had to be a joke at first, but he put that smiley of someone banging their head against a wall in disgust. So this is really upsetting to him.

Liked the idea of him being a fall back guy when Bennett leaves, if nothing he knew the system and caught the ball.

I think Phillips is pretty much assured of assuming Bennett's role as the #2 guy next year. I think its safe to assume we'll probably add a guy via fre agency or the draft too.

I agree with Midswat who the hell would want to play for Jacksonville.

They must not be content with Marcedes Lewis or Zach Miller.
