Go on record with what you like to see, realistically, from Roy Williams this year?

Personally, I'd be happy with 45 receptions, 700 yards, and 5+ TD's.

On top of that . . . I'd like to see him avoid the drops. I'd like to see him blocking downfield like he has been. And I'd like to see him being a good teammate, congratulating Miles/Dez when they get TD's, etc.

Being a #2 WR I would like to see him more at 65 catches, 825 yards and 7 tds.

I want him to also not drop passes, and be more of a physical receiver after the catch.

He really hasn't shown that here. I think he needs to be consistant, and NOT have one bad game followed by a good one.

Miles Austin proved that last year, you can be consistant week in and week out.

If Austin,Bryant and Williams can all be productive this offense will be dangerous.

Remember those first down celebrations? The bow and arrow? The exaggerated finger point? The longhorn symbol when he scores a toucdown?

He's such a douche.

I don't think that's possible. Maybe in a conventional offense . . . but not when Jason Witten & Miles Austin will be the primary target on the majority of our passes. Add to it the depth we have at receiver, TE, and RB.

The rest of your post is valid. But yeah . . . I think 65 is too high.

Oh . . . and I guess Jon88 is a blind hater, who wouldn't be happy with Roy no matter what he did. Noted.

I'm not blind. I just don't want him on the team. To get those stats you mentined - 45 receptions - it's going to take 68 balls being thrown his way given the rate at which he catches the ball. That's too much.

Yeah, my prediction may be a little steap production wise, because of the other talent around him, but to me that would be expected out of a # 2 WR. We'll see.

The only reason I said 65 is, I believe defensive cordinators will pay extra attention to the Austins,Bryants and Wittens.

I don't think they believe Roy can be a game changer and beat them, and I'm giving Roy some love with 65 Rec.

If Dez stays healthy all year - 40-600-6

Reasonable. I think the 6 tds might be high. He got 7 last year, but Witten only had 1td. I think this year we'll see our TE's involved more in the red zone, and that'll obviously take away the receivers opportunities.

Of course, having said this . . . I put him down for 5+ td's. Not much of a difference there.

I say 48-648-6

I agree with middy in that 60-some is too high for the #2 WR given all the competition for receptions.

I originally thought I'd give him about 12 yards per reception but I checked his stats last year and he actually had a 15.7 yard average. Pretty good for a slow off the snap bum who can't play.

Roy is a better red zone target than Miles Austin.

Yes, I just said that.

Well I assume you figure Austin will get 1,200 and 10 TDs at least. Witten will get his usual 900-1,100 yards and the Cowboys have to work Dez in this year.

I just don't believe there are enough balls to get another WR 800 yards.

Im hoping that Miles can repeat last year and i know Witten will be Witten and I want to say Dez could have a break out year if Roy dont live up to his potential this year.

i really would like roy just to cut out the drops and he should get like 50 catches for around 700 yards and 8 TD's

I just don't see any way he gets more than 35-40 catches,if Bryant steps up.

So,say 350-550-5.
