Report: LB Rolando McClain arrested on drug, firearm charges
Patrik Walker - 42 minutes ago 0

Rolando McClain is vehemently working on no longer having a career in the NFL.

In 2016, the former Dallas Cowboys linebacker was initially set to return from a 10-game suspension levied against him for multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy, but subsequently missed a mandated drug screening. The latest violation could have potentially landed McClain a one-year ban, but he got much worse of a punishment instead.

He was indefinitely suspended from the league entirely.

According to Decatur Daily, McClain has been arrested in Hartselle, AL on drug and firearm charges. He has been charged with second-degree possession of marijuana as well as carrying a firearm without a permit -- along with a misdemeanor equipment violation.

He is currently being held in lieu of $2,000 bail.

So there's that.......

Waste. He was set for life on his Raider rookie deal (pre current rookie cap) and never gave a shit after that.

Right Kind of Guy

Clearly

So apparently Jerry is lobbying pretty hard to get the NFL to change/remove the ban on pot

My question is this

"If" Jerry can get the change to the pot policy how would it impact RoMac and Gregory's suspensions?

I could see them upholding the season suspension for Gregory but maybe relaxing RoMacs lifetime ban to a season suspension

Anyone have any idea how a change to the pot policy could impact our team?
