Rob Ryan a major disappointment to Buddy if he signs with Cowboys

Somewhere in Kentucky, Buddy Ryan is gearing up to watch his pride and joy Rex Ryan try to dismantle the dynasty of the north, the New England Patriots.

However, he also has to be considering disowning the other son, Roby Ryan. Seems that Rob is thisclose to joining the Dallas Cowboys as their new defensive coordinator. Either that, or Buddy did a piss poor job raising his sons and teaching them that nothing good ever came from Dallas.

If the Cowboys-Eagles rivalry was ever more heated than when Buddy coached here, I’d love to know when. From the Bounty Bowls to the pork Chop game, Philly vs. Dallas had it all in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

I wonder when they make this announcement official, my guess would be Monday.

That's the one downside to hiring Rob Ryan. If he has any success here he'll quickly become a hot head coach candidate. Especially if his brother continues to do well with the Jets.

Thats a good point, its also why I hope he recommends people he wants on the defensive staff to Garrett and we bring them here. That way if/when he does leave, we have some people that can run that style (assuming it works) of defense already in place.
