FCS All-America receiver added to Cowboys roster

The Cowboys have added Southern Utah receiver Tysson Poots to its roster Sunday, a day after receiver Teddy Williams suffered a hamstring injury.

Poots, who stands 6-2 and weighs 214 pounds, was named to the Walter Camp 2010 Football Championship Subdivision All-America team after catching 85 passes for 1,230 yards and 11 touchdowns his senior season.

During his career, he collected 282 receptions, 3,970 yards and 43 touchdowns.

Williams - the fastest player on the team - ran into receivers coach Jimmy Robinson on the sidelines Saturday, knocking the 58-year-old assistant unconscious. Williams was the gunner on a punt drill, and while trying to elude a player, he collided with Robinson, who was released from the hospital later that day.

There are now 86 players on the roster. The Cowboys can carry 90 during training camp.

If the Eagles want to play Samuels, Cromartie, & Nnamdi at corner, we'll be ready with Austin, Bryant, and Poots.
