St. Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo is certainly on the hotseat with a 10-36 record in the three years he's been head coach of the Rams.

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reported that the Rams have plans to "blow things up" at the end of the season. There are no plans to do it this week according to La Canfora but it is inevitable that it will happen after the season is over.

Also expected to go is offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. Quarterback Sam Bradford and the Rams offense have struggled to put points on the board averaging just under 12 points per game.

There is no word on General Manager Billy Devaney's future.

Spagnoulo probably ends up back in Philly if he gets axed.

McDaniels is awful.

If they would like to donate Steven Jackson to us for like a 7th round pick, I would be okay with that.

I'd even be willing to throw them a 3rd round pick for Chris Long but that's just me.

They can keep Jackson, I like our guys just fine.

Long would be a good fit, but I dont see them wanting to get rid of the guy

Orakpo, a 2 and Shanny's Rollex for Bradford.

That trade (minus the Rolex) would actually make sense for the Rams.

They could get a pass rusher, and could get a better QB in the draft like Barkley or Griffin. And a high second.

Report: Kroenke might fire Devaney, keep Spagnuolo

12/24/2011 9:13:48 AM

John Czarnecki of FOXSports.com reports there is a lot of heat on Rams general manager Billy Devaney, who has a record of 12-50 since taking over the personnel decisions of the team. One of the team’s biggest disappointments is offensive tackle Jason Smith, the second overall pick in 2009, the player taken behind Detroit’s Matthew Stafford. Jason Brown, a major free-agent signing, is now playing guard after being benched as the team’s starting center. The offensive line was supposed to be the strength of the team but its play has been horrible this season and a big reason Sam Bradford is hurting and not playing.

Coach Steve Spagnuolo is 10-36 overall and his control-freak tendencies have rubbed some players the wrong way. Owner Stan Kroenke, who keeps homes in Denver and Malibu, is said to be torn about what to do with Devaney and Spagnuolo, but some believe both could be fired at the end of the season. If only one goes, Devaney could be it.

Realistically they shouldn't even think about trading Bradford under any circumstance, but the only way they do is if they get the first overall pick. Luck will be under the new rookie salary structure and they could potentially have him and another top 10 pick.

If you put Orakpo in an aggresive 4-3 and he's a perenial all-pro.
