Former Texas A&M outside linebacker Von Miller was “bummed out” when he didn’t interview with the Dallas Cowboys at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

During an early March radio interview with local station 103.3 KESN-FM, Miller said it would be a “true blessing” to be selected by the Cowboys in the NFL Draft.

“I always saw myself with a blue star on the side of my helmet,” Miller said at the time.

Well, Miller, who is projected to be picked in the top 10 on Thursday, is not alone. Los Angeles Times NFL columnist Sam Farmer tweeted Wednesday that another top 10 talent wants in on playing in Big D.

“Both Von Miller and Patrick Peterson said their dream scenario is Dallas trading up to pick them,” Farmer posted.

Peterson, who played at LSU, is widely regarded as the top defensive back and possibly the most talented player in the draft.

Farmer didn't elaborate on his tweet, however, on Monday he posted his opinion on the direction the Cowboys may go with their first round pick.

“The Dallas Cowboys like Doug Free at left tackle, but could use some help on the other side," he wrote . "They are in prime position with the ninth pick to select USC's Tyron Smith, who played right tackle but is talented enough to move to the left side. The Cowboys are also in the market for defensive linemen, as it is likely they will part ways with Marcus Spears. There are plenty of defensive tackles in this draft who would be appealing.”
