The Philadelphia Eagles may have some interest in free agent quarterback Jake Locker according to Mark Eckel of NJ.com.

The Tennessee Titans declined to pick up the fifth-year option on their former first-round pick last fall and Locker needs a fresh start somewhere after four injury-riddled and mostly disappointing years in Tennessee. Last season Locker started five games for the Titans and had a career-low passer rating of 70.9. It is highly unlikely the Locker would challenge for the starting QB job with the Eagles but his mobility may make him a better fit forr Chip Kelly's offensive scheme than fellow free agent Mark Sanchez.

Kelly is familiar with Locker from the days when the QB was the starter at the University of Washington and Kelly was still the head coach at Oregon but may not have come away with the most positive of impressions. Oregon won all four games it played against Washington with Locker playing some of his worst college ball in three of them and missing the fourth due to injury. Kell has the reputation of getting the most out of quarterbacks, however, and may be just the elixir Locker needs to resurrect his career.

If the Eagles want a shitty QB with a fascination for the training room then have at it.
