The Arizona Cardinals have been one of the teams linked to Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA910 in Arizona reports "Kevin Kolb is the guy. The Cardinals are prepared to offer Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie straight up according to a source"

interesting. Cromartie and burress in one offseason to that locker room....That is a combustible combination...

the other interesting note is that it takes them out of the namdi bonanza. I thought they would be the ones to pay him.

If they bow out and washington is not genuinely interested I imagine we might be the only big market interested in him....so I bet there is alot of conjecture with the media and namdi to Dallas if this happens.

He could end up in detroit in this scenario.

Well, it's saying Arizona will offer it. Not that the Eagles would accept.

Would we rather the Eagles have Cromartie or either the Cardinals 1st, or 2 seconds? (speculated going rate for Kolb).

I thought I read somewhere where the Seahawks had offered up picks before the draft for Kolb, possibly a 1st? Rogers-Cromartie is a decent player but if I can milk a 1st and an additional pick out of Seattle, Miami, or any additional interested team then I'm going to try to get them in a bidding war to see what compensation they will cough up when it comes to draft picks.

I'd take that trade in a heartbeat. Philly would have two very good corners then.

seems like too much for Kolb. I mean, I don't think Cromartie is that great - he's a gambler like Hall, not as good at it as Samuels - but he's better than Kolb.

That's why I think it's a good trade for Philly. I mean I can't stand Philly, but they always seem to make good with their trades.

I just don't see it happening, unless the Cards are run by retards. Cromartie - a first round pick, who has shown he can play and shown some flashes of real nice potential, for a second round project QB who got benched last season and has only ever beat up on scrubs and got worked by the Cowboys last season (a team that got worked by whoever the hell was QBing the Cardinals when we played them)????

Doesn't make an ounce of sense.

Having lived here now and being bombarded with all things Cardianls, I can tell you that Whisenhunt is desperate for a veteran QB. He may not be long for here if they don't win a very mediocre division .

Well, that NFC West is so weak that you'd have to feel that whatever team can find a competent QB has the best chance of winning the division.

Bradford is the only guy worth a crap. The entire division is a 7-9 dumpster fire.

If you can trade for a QB... get moderate to decent play (which Kolb did provide, minus the Cowboys game), then you're going to win the division and make the playoffs.

For a head coach, that's job security.
