Well, the first quarter of the season is over. We're 2-2.

You can make a case that we could be 4-0. Just as you could make a case we could be 0-4.

I think we're the kind of team that'll improve as the season goes on, assuming we can maintain relative health. I base this off of the offensive line potentially gelling, as well as the defense getting more comfortable.

The next four opponents are as follows:

@ New England Patriots
St Louis Rams
@ Philadelphia
Seattle

As wildly unpredictable as this team has been over the first four weeks, where do you have us at the half-way mark?

I'm thinking we beat NE.

I'm thinking Vick will be severly injured or dead by the time we play Philly. The other two games should be simple wins.

6-2. On the way to 11-5.

I got us at 5-3.

Who do we lose to?

Wait for it....

Wait for it.....

St. Louis.

Two words: Trap. Game.

Spend two weeks preparing for a big game against New England. W.

Then look at the lowly Rams on the schedule, with a big divisional game at Philly the following week.

It'll be hard not to overlook that team.

Also should be noted that we play the Eagles as they come off their bye. That'll be challenging, no matter what their record is at that point. They are talented.

I don't care. For the next couple of weeks, we'll hear how hard Romo is working, and how he is putting this game behind him, he'll offer up the same mealy-louthed apologies about letting the team and fans down, and talk about taking blame and personal responsibility. But you will never, you will NEVER hear make a vow that he will never do this to the team again.

We'll probably beat the Patriots, I have that feeling. And all this shit will be forgotten and forgiven---not by me though. From here on with every game, I will be expecting such a meltdown. Either way, I will not be disappointed again.

This game and the Jets game are losses that will come back to bite you in the backside near the end of the season.

I'm wavering between 5-3 and 4-4. I picked 5-3 because I think we're going to win one of Philly or NE when everyone thinks we should lose.

lol So if he made a VOW, would you be ok? Would that change things?

Either way, I will not be disappointed again.
Somehow I doubt that.

Not necessarily. But it'd be a first step in showing that he gave a damn. I'd prefer that than the typical mealy-mouth apologies/mea culpas.

You doubt that? So are you saying that you expect Romo to have more games like yesterday, and therefore I will be disappointed? I'm telling you that I won't, because I DO expect Romo to have more games like yesterday, and since I expect such, I cannot be disappointed when it happens. Understand?

You really think he doesn't care? For fuck's sake, do you watch the games? If anything I'd say he cares too much. QBs have to have short term memories, and I don't think he does.

Yeah, right. If he cares so much, how come he is not learning from his shit?

I know what you are saying, and I am telling you that I will not be disappointed. Why should I, and would I be disappointed when I expect him to have another game like this? I'm over it.
