I wouldn't give the RBs and FBs the same grade.
Your grades for the offensive line are far too high.
Colombo was the worst starter in 2010. He allowed 9.5 sacks and if Tyron Smith is solid the entire line will be solid
Yeah we'll agree to disagree on that. I think our offensive line is horrible and in need of a total makeover. Smith is a start.
I wouldn't give any of the three positions a grade above a C.
Tackles are young and will be very good. gurode is a top 5 nfl center

You're grading positions not just starters.
In your T breakdown you state the team may not have to address that position for the next 7 or 8 years. But then add that when Colombo is released they have no depth at the position.
Make sense?
Gurode is an aging, in decline, player living off his reputation. And there isn't a player behind him worth a shat. Unless you think Bill Nagy is some hidden gem.
I'd go C for the Ts. D for the Gs. C- for C.
Buehler needs to be shown the door now that kickers have 10 fewer yards to cover on kickoff. Lets get someone with real accuracy in here.
Its too bad the Pats didn't show Adam Vinatieri the door after his first season when he kicked only 77 percent FG's and missed 3 XP's. We could have signed one of the greatest kickers of all time.
C for Doug Free and Tyron Smith. C- for Gurode.
Wow.
and how you don't have our QB's an A or A+ is mind boggling.
You're apparently not bright enough to realize this is a grade for the overall position not just the starters. Even after that fact being emphasized.
Im aware the grade is for the overall position, but with us having two quality starters, factoring in that our backups may not be the best depth in the world shouldn't bring the grade down that far.
Same for C. Gurode, Costa, and Nagy should be better than a C-.
You don't go from maybe the worst offensive line in football in 2010 to As and Bs all around after drafting Smith, Arkin and Nagy.
I thought the grades were more than generous. We can't run worth a shit behind the line. The only thing we can do is attempt to trick the defense, then hand the ball off and hope we caught them off gaurd enough to help those bums get a push.
Then, if anyone noticed, Garrett and Tony never trusted the pass blocking this year, from the first offensive snap of the year it was apparent.
We've upgraded one starter on a horrible starting unit. We'll still see more draws and delays until the interior gets a full make over. We'll also continue to see drives stall inside the 10 because we have no push.
Hey I get the concept that the offensive line needs to improve... And I think it will.
But keep in mind this offense was 7th in the NFL in both scoring and in yardage.
7th.
And that's with no help from this pathetic defense.
And the starting QB was lost for half the season.
Come'on now, not everyone on this offense, or on the offensive line specifically, sucked.
You don't suck that bad and end up 7th in scoring.
Some sucked. Some played well on the offensive line.
