The Cowboys disappointing start has once again led to questions about the job security of Wade Phillips. The answer is the same as we have reported here time and time again.
Owner Jerry Jones has no intention of firing his head coach at this time.
The latest to ask the question is the NFL Network. Stephen Jones , the Cowboys chief operating officer, is in Chicago for a league meeting. When asked by a reporter for NFL network, "is Wade safe'', Stephen Jones gave this simple, one-word reply.
"Yes.''
We will likely file a similar post later in the week when Jerry Jones is asked the Phillips question on his weekly radio show.
Jerry's answer will likely be longer than one word.
